As Founder and Wealth Manager at Wayfinder Capital, I am proud to provide financial advice to clients in all areas of personal finance, such as investments, tax planning, insurance planning, financial planning, and estate planning. I am also responsible for the direction of the firm and making decisions on what resources and tools we use to deliver our services to clients. I feel that I am motivated by the ability to learn someone's story. I feel that our clients are so interesting, and hearing the individual stories of building wealth, seeing the different careers, and learning about experiences that others share with you as a trusted advisor is always fun and inspiring.

As a Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®), I want my clients to know that they are in the best hands when it comes to guiding their financial decisions. I received the CFP® designation in 2015, and shortly after, I also received the Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS) designation. Prior to founding Wayfinder Capital, I was a 50% owner of an RIA called Centerpiece Wealth Advisor, LLC for just over 3 years. I also worked at Charles Schwab and Fidelity Investments prior to co-founding Centerpiece Wealth. Before starting my career in the financial services industry, I received my AA degree from Tallahassee Community College and graduated from the University of Phoenix shortly afterwards. I also completed two of my semesters with the University of Phoenix while deployed in Iraq with the National Guard from 2009-2010.

My true inspiration for starting a career in the financial services industry is quite personal. My mother hit hard times when I was very young and needed financial advice. She chose a local advisor and went in for an appointment. The advice she received that day changed her life and shaped her financial future. That experience guides my path and my career to this day. I realized then that an advisor acting in the best interest of the client can change someone's life.

I believe that my greatest value is providing peace of mind. I think that our team has done our job best when our clients are enjoying their lives the most. The more stress, anxiety, and uncertainty we can remove through our processes, communication strategies, and resources for insight, the more value we add for our clients.

I currently live in Castle Rock, Colorado with my wife, Kristin, and our son, Seth. I believe that they both fill me up with things that are truly important in life: love, purpose, laughter, confidence, and light. When I am not servicing clients, I am involved in the Financial Planning Association, an organization that helps to promote knowledge about the best practices in our industry. In my free time, I also enjoy golfing, home projects, and practicing the art of real barbecue.
